By incorporating taxes upfront, we make it easier for you to know exactly what you’re paying from the start. This ensures a seamless checkout experience, so you can focus on the magic of pampering your beloved feline without any extra numbers to crunch.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, debit, and e-transfer to make checkout simple and hassle-free. Credit cards are also accepted, but due to increase in credit card processing fees a 3% incur fee will be applied for credit card payments.

Can I book multiple cats at once?
Of course! We’re happy to accommodate multi-cat families, though appointment availability may vary based on their needs.

Would you travel outside your service area?

Meowtasia is proudly nestled in the heart of Truro, offering a luxurious feline spa experience within a 40-mins of Truro! For those outside our enchanted realm - we can still make the journey.

An additional convenience fee will apply. This is calculated based on your location outside the service area. Longer distances will naturally incur a larger travel fee. This ensures that we can continue delivering the same high-quality, stress-free care your feline royal deserves.

Do cats really need baths?

We completely understand the hesitations surrounding feline baths. At Meowtasia, our approach is nothing like full submersion. Instead, we use a gentle, collapsible tub paired with a whisper-soft shower hose, similar to the refined techniques of professional grooming salons. To the surprise of many, quite a few feline royals actually find this method rather soothing! The warm water makes them feel at ease and remind them of their favourite sun bathing spot!

Bathing is not just about keeping fur clean; it is a vital ritual to maintain feline splendor. Cats naturally produce oils that, over time, can form a stubborn, glue-like substance, causing their luxurious coats to tangle and mat. This can range from minor inconveniences to more severe discomfort—sometimes requiring shaving as a last resort. But fret not! A well-timed bath helps prevent these pesky mats from returning, allowing your feline to reign supreme in silky, untangled glory.

At Meowtasia, we believe in nurturing long-term wellness through expert grooming rather than quick fixes. For those with minor matting, a combination of our specially formulated shampoo and gentle combing can work wonders—dissolving the sticky buildup, restoring softness, and sparing them from an unnecessary shave. Do Not Disturb

To ensure their comfort, relaxation, and safety, we ask that cat parents allow their beloved companions to experience their spa session undisturbed. This isn’t to hide anything—far from it! It’s about crafting a stress-free, positive grooming journey where magic happens. Here’s why:

Bonding & Trust: Grooming is an essential part of a cat’s well-being, just like it is for dogs. Regular visits help build trust between your feline royal and their groomer, making each session smoother and more enjoyable. As cats age, their grooming needs evolve—from increased oil production to mobility challenges—a strong bond ensures their long-term comfort.

A Tranquil Experience: Too many watchful eyes can make even the most regal kitty feel uneasy. When surrounded by multiple people, their focus is divided, which can heighten anxiety. By allowing them to concentrate on a single, skilled groomer, we help them settle into a state of ease rather than stress—because every cat deserves to feel their best!

Safety First: Grooming is an art, but it’s also a practice that requires precision and care. Improper handling—by anyone—can lead to accidental bites or scratches, sometimes resulting in serious conditions like Cat Scratch Fever. Cancellation & Rescheduling

At Meowtasia, we value the time and care dedicated to every feline guest. To ensure a smooth and magical experience, we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of grooming appointments.

Should a cancellation occur without the required notice—and barring emergencies—a $30 cancellation fee will apply before the next grooming service can be scheduled. This allows us to continue providing exceptional service to all of our cherished feline clients.

Health & Wellness

At Meowtasia, the comfort and safety of every feline guest is our top priority. As a responsible cat parent, it is essential to inform the groomer of any pre-existing health conditions your cat may have. These may include, but are not limited to, allergies, skin sensitivities, heart conditions, respiratory concerns, or any medical issues that could impact the grooming process.

Transparency is key to ensuring a safe and positive experience. Failure to disclose important health information may increase potential risks to your cat’s well-being during grooming. By sharing these details, you help us tailor our care and ensure a gentle, stress-free spa session for your feline royal.

A Clean & Pest-Free Grooming Experience

At Meowtasia, we take great care in providing a serene and safe grooming experience for every feline guest. To maintain the highest standards of health and well-being, we require that all cats be free of fleas and ticks prior to their appointment.

Should these unwelcome visitors be discovered during the grooming process, the session will need to be immediately cancelled to protect both our furry clients and our grooming environment. A $50 sanitation fee will be required to ensure that all equipment is thoroughly cleaned and fumigated, preventing any further spread.

To keep your feline royal feeling their best, we highly recommend a regular flea and tick prevention regimen—because every cat deserves to enjoy their spa day without a single worry!

PurrCare
Gentle Grooming - Every Feline Personality

At Meowtasia, we understand that some feline royals may experience anxiety, nervousness, or even a touch of sass during their grooming sessions. Our groomer is dedicated to offering extra patience, gentle handling, and a soothing environment to ensure every cat feels safe and cared for.

Because these special sessions require additional time and mindful attention, a PurrCare fee of $40 will apply. However, if your cat prefers a more gradual approach, we are more than happy to split the grooming service over multiple days to reduce stress and make the experience as comfortable as possible. In these cases, PurrCare will only be applied once, and you’ll only be charged for the services completed during each session.
